So You Got A New Job. . .
In case you haven’t heard yet…
I was definitely excited about the new job, but to be honest, when I walked into it, I did so with some hesitation. . .
But in the days and weeks to follow, God revealed to me that it IS what He wants. Confirmation has come again and again, leaving me in tears or with a smile on my face, and even in the first week (which has been largely playing “catch-up”), I have come to a place where I feel like I can really approach my job with a lot of myself, rather than simply doing tasks that I’ve been asked to do (like many jobs of my past).
Several weeks ago, a friend seemed to see things in ways I didn’t, saying “I love it when people find jobs that are a perfect fit for them.” At the time, I wasn’t sure if she knew what she was saying. Today, it seems that those words may have come straight from the Father instead of from herself.
So with that, I want to thank everyone that has been praying with me, thinking of me, and hoping for good things with me. This new job really seems to be a great fit for this season. And that really IS reason to celebrate.
